Design and Refine!
This is the room where we tweak our ideas for current and future projects. Here is where we design our SVG projects and particularly our downloads and many laser cutting files. There is nothing more rewarding than when a concept in our heads becomes a real and gorgeous physical creation!

SUMMER HOLIDAY FUN
We have just returned from our Summer Holiday in gorgeous Wales. We made it a mission to craft a greeting card while we were on the road with the resources we had around us – including a couple of stones from the campsite! It was great fun and this is the creation we made and you can watch the fun we had making this lovely card here on our Youtube channel
You can see more of the lovely artwork and creative sights we saw on our travels on our About Us page here:
Patterned Paper Pimping!
From the end of May into the beginning of June, we experimented with some of the dull papers that you always get in shop bought paper pads. Most of the papers are lovely but you always get one or two that sit in your stash never to see the light of day. I wanted to try and make those papers pop and I made a couple of creations with them that turned out pretty darn good! One mixed media card and then a classy yet simple rustic card.
I also got to make some texture paste which worked wonderfully and was so smooth to work with. I really enjoyed the whole process.
We were very pleased with the results and you can watch the paper pimping and the creating of the cards here:

May....

a work of genius
Outstanding design work from others also must be recognised such as this amazing card I received from a work colleague which completely blew me away.
It is so innovative and inspiring and like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Genius in it’s apparent simplicity.
I haven’t studied yet it’s construction but I’m certainly not taking it apart to do so!
April….
floral wreath
This wreath was designed and assembled during March. The possibilities with this were boundless and it was hard to settle on one design.
We are delighted by the beautiful result. The making of this wreath can be viewed on our You Tube channel here:

Watercolour background papers
These watercolour background papers turned out so well! We designed and cut out a self adhesive stencil featuring some funky heart shapes.
We used distress inks to blend the colours into the stencils then spritzed with water and even reversed the process with the waste hearts! We then scanned the dried papers into the computer, printed them out on various papers (even patterned papers) and made these lovely crackers with them. It really was a fun project!
